Letter from Our President
As a member of Pi Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta, you are enveloped by the unparalleled love of all your sisters. These women are among the most genuine and sincere humans on the planet. Trust me, college is so much easier when you find your people. As Alpha Gamma Delta women, we strive to attain high ideals, truth, kindness, and sincerity. We band together to inspire each other and impact the world around us.
The involvement of our members on campus is extraordinary. Alpha Gams can be found on stage for theatre performances and music recitals, on sports teams and serving the campus community. Within the chapter, our calendar is always full of exciting things to do together.
My favorite events of the year are ones where we band together to promote the spirit of Alpha Gamma Delta—Recruitment, Greek Week, and our philanthropy events. During recruitment, we grow so much closer as sisters as we prepare to open our arms to brand new squirrels. Greek Week allows us to be together with all of our Greek brothers and sisters. Serving our Cedar Rapids community and the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation also brings us closer to one another, as well as to our Purpose. The support of other chapters and of our International Headquarters is abundant. This summer, I had the opportunity to learn about our new philanthropic focus and hone leadership skills with 650 sisters from all across North America.
Serving as the President of Pi Chapter has given me the opportunity to grow exponentially as a leader. I will confidently enter the professional world knowing how to respect others as well as myself. Above all else, serving the women that have given me so much is what makes my heart happy. With an open heart, I look forward to the remainder of my term, hoping to lead Pi Chapter to new heights this fall.
